Freedom of speech
Assembly rooms are usually a center where conference and different government meetings take place. The basic purpose of assembly rooms is to accommodate social gatherings and events mostly held by government officials. Lately, people have been fighting for the freedom of assembly without getting any interference from the government. You would find many organizations and people asking for their right to hold public meetings. Moreover, the freedom of assembly has also been guaranteed by the first amendment of United States constitution, thus it is rightful and legal for the citizens to save the assembly rooms of America to have a freedom of speech and a proper platform.
Every human has a right to freedom of expressing themselves in front of other people and government should not obstruct them. Therefore, to make use of assembly rooms only for the purpose of governmental meetings are not right and should be brought to justice. It is the responsibility of our political leaders and governments to help in protecting our rights but not becoming the one violating them. By limiting, the use of assembly rooms to government meetings and events is certainly not fair and it should be changed. Therefore, steps should be taken by the citizens to save the assembly rooms of America and fight together for our rights.
The restriction of holding public meetings in assembly rooms is not lawful. Why do public always have to hold open-air assemblies when they could have a proper meeting in assembly rooms? Governmental officials have no right to stop their citizens from holding meetings in assembly rooms as they are meant to work for the welfare of their citizens and should not stop them from expressing their thoughts. Every individual in America have been given a right of assembling and a liberty of speech. There is no such law that prohibits its citizens not only in America but also all over the world from expressing their thoughts and opinions. You would also not find any law that only allows only a list of people to hold meetings or have a freedom of speech. Thus, if there isn’t any law that takes away our freedom of speech from us then why take away our platform? It is the right of every citizen of America to have both freedom of speech and a platform to do so. However, if the government does not realize the fact that we should have rights to use assembly rooms for the freedom of speech then it is our duty to make them give us our rights even if they do not want to. It is our duty to save the assembly rooms of America for public meetings without having to get into the trouble of asking for permission or bearing any sort of interference from government.
Meeting together at a place in a lawful manner for a lawful purpose does not cause any harm to anyone. All the citizens have right to freedom of peaceful assembly along with freedom of association with other fellow citizens. We all have rights to come together and form trade unions for the protection of our rights. Thus, no one can take these rights away from the citizens of America not even the government. Therefore, we should have to face any restriction when we try to exercise these rights as long as we are practicing them according to the law.
The public meetings would take place for numerous reasons such as prevention of crime, national security, protection of rights, and protection of health or public safety. Therefore, we should have the freedom to hold our public meetings, sit-ins or demonstrations in assembly rooms without getting any interference from the State and the only way to save the assembly rooms of America is to join hands and work together.
If the public is having a peaceful meeting or gathering and there is nothing unlawful in the conduct of the person addressing the meeting then why bear any interference from government? Government cannot prevent loyal and peaceful citizens from meeting together for a legal and lawful purpose. This matter is very noticeable and it should be brought to justice. Freedom of assembly is a qualified right and an interference with this right should be justified. The freedom of assembly has also been approved by the constitution of United Stated and taking away the platform for expression is not legal and should be addressed. Public of United States shouldn’t ask for any sort of permission or interference from the government side when holding meetings in assembly rooms when there is no such law that prohibits from doing so.
The only way we can save the assembly rooms of America is the realization of violation of our rights. We need to realize that our rights should be given to them and even the government cannot take them away from us. Therefore, assembly rooms should be used for both governmental meetings as well as public meetings
